OnePlus Nord N10 5G may come to the US with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690, 64MP camera for

The OnePlus Nord was a milestone release for OnePlus because it marked the company’s first launch of a mid-range smartphone since the 2015 OnePlus X. Unfortunately, the OnePlus Nord isn’t available in the U.S., but the good news is that OnePlus is planning to bring multiple new smartphones stateside. One of those devices, code-named the OnePlus “Clover”, is more budget-oriented with low-end specs to match. The other one, which could be called the “OnePlus Nord N10 5G”, seems far more exciting.

According to Android Central, OnePlus is gearing up to release the Nord N10 5G in the U.S. later this year, and it will retail for under $400. As we first confirmed, the new device is code-named “Billie” and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset. The Snapdragon 690 is built on an 8nm node and promises a 25% increase in performance over the Snapdragon 675. Additionally, the chip has an integrated Snapdragon X51 5G modem with global band support for sub-6GHz networks.

Some of the other alleged specs of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G includes a 6.49-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate — a refresh rate OnePlus said will be seen in all of its releases going forward. The Nord N10 5G will also reportedly feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Finally, the device is rumored to feature an exciting camera setup, headlined by a 64MP main sensor in addition to an 8MP wide-angle module and two 2MP auxiliary sensors (you know the drill by now, that probably means a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera). The OnePlus Camera app recently added support for a 64MP mode, which we previously expected to show up on the OnePlus 8T, though rumors now suggest the upcoming flagship will feature a 48MP main camera instead.

There’s no release date for the OnePlus Nord N10 5G, but Android Central expects it to launch at a price under $400, alongside the flagship OnePlus 8T. If that isn’t enough, OnePlus will reportedly introduce its entry-level “Clover”device in the U.S. sometime this year for under $200. Needless to say, if you’re a OnePlus fan in the U.S., you’ll have plenty of options come holiday season.
