Bose unveils a gaming version of its QuietComfort 35 II headphones

Bose’s QuietComfort 35 II headphones are of the best wireless headphones for the average consumer. They offer terrific sound quality, powerful noise cancellation, and a comfortable design. Now, after an appearance in the Bose Connect app over the summer, Bose has officially unveiled a new version designed for gaming: the Bose QC 35 II Gaming Headset.

Priced at $329.95, the QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset appears to offer the same sound quality, features, and overall design of the original. This version, however, comes with a detachable wired boom microphone and a USB desktop dial that allows users to adjust volume and cycle through stages of mic monitoring.

Bose’s new gaming headset is also “Discord certified”, meaning Bose is guaranteeing your voice will sound crystal clear when using the chat platform on PC. Some of the other features include support for voice assistants (like Google Assistant) and up to 40 hours of wired gaming, or 20 hours of battery life on the go.

The headphones are compatible with PCs, consoles, and mobile devices, making them incredibly versatile. To add some gaming credibility to its headphones, the QC35 II Gaming Headset was announced as the official gaming headset for League of Legends esports global events.

When you think of gaming headsets, you typically think of companies like Razer and Logitech, so it’s nice to see an established brand throw their hat into the mix. The original QC35 II headphones are among the best noise-canceling headphones recommended for the average consumer, so it stands to reason these will be great for the average gamer, too.

With PC gaming becoming more popular and new consoles coming from Sony and Microsoft, the QC35 II Gaming Headset is landing at a critical time. At $329, they’re expensive as far as gaming headsets go, but you do get a lot of features for the price. The QC35 II Gaming Headset is available now in the U.S. and Canada and is coming soon to China.
